• Jerry and others created PSA in 2001
• Tarheel Canine group meets twice a week regularly for training.
• Protection is the fun part, obedience is more challenging. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
• Train for an eye to be above where you want to show.

There are 4 Levels in PSA:

• Entry- PDC Protection Dog Certificate- Sleeve division and Suit Division
• Carjack, Handler Attack, Courage test all need to pass at 75% or better.
• PSA 1, 2, and 3, with 3 as the elite level
• In 19 years there have only been 20 dogs make it to PSA level 3
